The National Faculty Development Program on “Exploring Statistical Techniques for Research Using R and JAMOVI” aims to equip participants with essential statistical skills and tools necessary for conducting rigorous research and data analysis. Upon completion, faculty members and researchers will be proficient in applying statistical methods such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, ANOVA, factor analysis, non-parametric tests, etc. using R and JAMOVI. These tools will enhance their ability to analyse, interpret, and present data effectively in real-world research scenarios. This FDP will improve the quality of academic research by enabling participants to leverage open-source software for data-driven decision-making and to integrate these statistical techniques into their teaching, fostering greater student engagement and understanding. The hands-on learning approach ensures practical application, making participants competent in using modern statistical methods tailored to the needs of research, thus elevating their research outcomes and scholarly contributions.
