The UGC Guidelines for Internship/Research Internship for Undergraduate Students were issued by the University Grants Commission to strengthen experiential learning, employability, innovation, and research exposure for undergraduate students under NEP 2020.

Duration & Credits
- Internship/research internship is integrated into UG curriculum
- Recommended:
- 2–4 credits minimum within UG programmes
- Flexible duration depending on programme structure
- Research internships may include faculty-guided projects and field/lab work.
